FALL 2020: Sign your child up for lessons and receive a 10% discount for your first month of lessons

Do you have a child who is musically inclined, interested in piano, voice and/or guitar lessons or needs a creative outlet that will help with so many other areas of life? Music positively impacts the brain by increasing intelligence, enhancing learning, concentration and creativity. With twenty years of experience in teaching students of all levels, performing and recording professionally as a singer-songwriter, Krista can cultivate the little musician that lives within every child. Many of her students have gone  on to perform in bands, write songs and perform solo, become college music majors and have successful musical outlets and careers. She also teaches adult singer-songwriters and helped them learn new tricks on their instruments. Krista is not only greatly experienced in teaching music, she is also a mom and can relate to parents and their busy schedules. She is accommodating and dependable.

Not only will your child learn how to play an instrument; they will learn how to read music and apply music theory to their own songwriting ventures should they be interested in composition. With virtual recitals, your child will have the opportunity to share their progress with friends and family.

Music makes you smarter. Let's begin this journey together!

Guitar, voice and piano lessons are offered virtually through programs Skype and Zoom on your computer. Payments are made through Venmo. Lessons must be paid for in advance on a monthly basis to hold your lesson slot time/day.

Lessons are offered at a discounted rate for group guitar and voice lessons. If you are interested in having your home available for your child and friends or neighbors who are also interested in lessons, group lessons or back to back private lessons at the same location, it will lower the cost for each student.

Music positively impacts a child's development. Toddler time music is a perfect way to introduce music to your little one. We will sing nursery rhymes and songs your child likes to learn melody while using hand instruments to introduce rhythm in a way a small child can understand. We use our hands and body to further feel rhythm. We will make up songs and apply what we learn to those songs! There are options to set up group virtual sessions with friends.

"I am a 76 year old retired school teacher. I have been taking guitar lessons with Krista for the last 2 years. Playing the guitar has been on my bucket list for quite some time. Krista is an amazing fit for me! She is always pleasant, patient, and has an amazing spirit and energy. I never feel intimidated despite how I may feel about my guitar playing skills. Krista always supports and motivates me to be the best that I can be! I completely enjoy our sessions together as she makes me feel so comfortable working with her. If you are looking for a music teacher that will genuinely foster you musical genes, search no have found that teacher in Krista!"  -Andria Johnson , Glenside Pa

"Even though I've been a guitarist for more than 40 years, Krista is teaching me new ways to approach my playing and showing me techniques that are improving my skills. Her lessons are engaging, and she continually challenges me to take my playing to another level." -Gregg Oliver, Doylestown Pa

"Krista was my music teacher for about eight years. She taught me piano and guitar until I graduated high school. Krista was very attentive, she spent extra time with me when she discovered I was memorizing music and not actually learning to read. She was flexible with any kind of music I wanted to learn and was always showing me new music. Besides being an excellent teacher, Krista is also a very kind soul. She truly cares about her students and is wonderful with all ages! I am so grateful to have had her as my teacher." -Alison Kelly, Doylestown Pa

"I had Krista as my guitar teacher for 10 years and she made it the most enjoyable experience for me! she was very understanding and willing to help me learn at a pace that is comfortable for me! So if you want to learn and have fun at the same time I HIGHLY recommend Krista!" -Josh Cryder, Chalfont Pa

"My two children (both age 6) started piano lessons with Krista in Oct 2019. They are not only learning piano, but really loving it. My kids say, "She's awesome!" and "We love her!" She has been patient and has allowed my kids to move through the lessons at their own pace. She's been a pleasure to work with, as she communicates well, is knowledgeable and reliable. We plan on continuing with her. I highly recommend working with Krista." -Deanne Morris, Ambler Pa

"Krista has been a magnificent guitar teacher to my 15-year old son. We began lessons with her over a year ago when he was just over a beginner level, first lessons occurred in person (at my house!) and then over Zoom. My son has excelled tremendously in the last year and now is now able to quickly learn and play pretty much any song that he wants. Before Krista, he had a hard time  finding the right fit as an instructor and Krista was a match for his (sometimes challenging!) personality. He and her other students participated in a virtual recital (during pandemic) last Spring which was great to see the diversity of ages (kids to adults), gender, instrument (piano/voice/guitar) of the students she teaches. I highly recommend Krista." -Terri Hilbush, Blue Bell Pa

Krista has taught at these PA locations: George's Music (North Wales), DeVoe's (Lansdale), Bucks County Folk (Chalfont), Paul Greens School Of Rock (Fort Washington), Lansdale Catholic Highschool, Music Reach (Bucks and Montgomery County) and the Ambler YMCA.
